We visited June lake to see dramatic fall colors at the end of October. Fall Colors in the June Lake Loop usually reach their peak sometime during the first two weeks of October. Although we are little bit late, it was amazing. Don’t miss it!
Tiago Pass is amazing route is to reach June Lake but it is closed in winter time. (when first heavy snow). Check road status before you go.
If you are coming over Tiago Pass, Groveland is good place to stop have breakfast or lunch before arrive to Tiago Pass. We stopped at Dori’s Tea Cottage for breakfast. They have lots of tea option.
You can also do hiking if you have time while passing Tiago Pass. There are tons of hiking trails on the way.
