Tule Elks in Tomales Bay

If you live around San Francisco Bay Area,

If viewing  wildlife is one of the reasons you enjoy hiking;

This hiking is sure to satisfy. You must do it!

It is only one or two hours far from Bay Area (depends on your location)

The wildlife is abuntant because Tomales Point Trail is located in Point Reyes National Seashore’s tule elk reserve. You will not see only tule elk, you will have a chance to see lots of other wildlife. If you do that hiking in spring, you will see lots of colorful flowers.

We completed that trail four times. We really enjoyed at every turn.

We want to give some tips for that hiking;

If you want to see Tule elks closely, start hiking before 07:30 am to beat crowd. To reach trail head by car takes 30 minutes even from Point Reyes Station.
